The Chicago Autoshow is the largest Autoshow in the United States, spanning over one million square feet of stunning displays. This show is not only the largest in the United States but also the longest running, dating back to 1901 when there were far less manufacturers. The moment you walk into the gate of the show you know it was going to be a special one. Many electric cars, concepts, and show cars were brought out by different manufacturers including one of my favorites the TRD surf. The days that the general public were full of families having fun, looking for their next vehicle, and enjoying the many booths and groups that attended the show!

Chitown exotics is an automotive group in Chicago that is made up of many owners of supercars, exotics and high end luxury automobiles that has a great part in local charities as well. The Chitown Exotics area amazed every spectator that I saw walk by throughout the week. Record breakers seemed to be the theme of the booth with one of the highlights being Cannonball garages 2016 Audi S6 that holds the current Cannonball Run record set in 2021 by Arne Toman and Doug Tabbott. The second record holder was the world record Lamborghini Huracán holding a stout 6.98 second quarter mile time. This is not only an impressive time but over two tenths of a second quicker than the second fastest. This record was set by driver Jordan Martin with AMS Performance.

The Chicago Auto Show was located at The McCormick Place nestled right on the shoreline of Lake Michigan. The location of the Autoshow made for a great place for families and attendees to wander off the beaten path (yes even in the frigid Chicago winter) and take in some of the beautiful architecture, landscapes and also outdoor test drives! With next year already in the works I will be sure to be back in 2026!
