The Acura RSX Type S is hands down a beautiful car. From the factory, it has a 2.0 L 4-Cylinder engine producing around 200 HP.
This car is built to have more than 200 HP. It has a 6-speed manual with front wheel drive. The owner has changed a lot from the engine of the car to the wheels and tires of the car.
What are the Numbers?
To give a general reference, a stock Acura RSX Type S has exactly 201 HP at 7800 RPM with around 140 lb-ft torque at 7000 RPM. The engine is a 16-valve, DOHC, 2.0-liter, i-VTEC 4-cylinder. The engine redlines at 8100 RPM. Like I mentioned previously there is a 6-speed manual transmission in the car. The car comes with P215/45R17 Michelin All Season High Performance Tires.
What modifications are done to the car?
The stock Michelin All Season tires were replaced with Federal RR tires. These tires help provide the car with outstanding grip and durability. The shape and way the tires are made help improve the traction of the car in rainy and wet conditions. This car has an aftermarket invidia catback exhaust. The suspension has been upgraded with BC Extreme Low coilovers.
There is also an Alpha Skunk 2 Header installed which helps with maximizing the exhaust flow and increasing the horsepower and torque of the car. Paired with a Taketa intake that adds around 12 HP.
Some other notable modifications done do the car are a K-tuned chipped ECU, Yonaka aluminum radiator, PLM cross bar, and RPF1 wheels.
