What inspired you to get into cars?
I asked Austin what inspired him to love cars and why he has a passion for them in the first place. He explained that towards the end of his high school career, a friend introduced him to the local car community.
When he first started getting into cars, he was drawn to a variety of types, from supercars to slammed vehicles and sports cars. As he became more involved in the community, he realized he had a particular interest in stance cars. This inspired him to buy his first car and begin modifying it.


What made you get into Slammed/Stance cars?
I was curious about Austin’s fascination with stance cars, so I asked him what drew him to them. He explained that he primarily discovered the stance scene through social media.
He also saw these cars in person and loved their appearance. For Austin, the main appeal of stance cars is how low they sit. He believes that lowering a car enhances its overall look significantly.
What do you Love most about your Car?
In my opinion, Austin’s GR86 is a beautiful and well-built car. I wanted to hear his thoughts about it, so I asked him what his favorite aspect of the car is. Austin mentioned that he loves how clean his car looks.
He also shared that the modifications made to the car give it a sleek appearance, allowing the body to flow seamlessly, making everything look cohesive. Additionally, he appreciates how some of the modifications give the car an OEM+ look.


What Modifications do you have on your Car?
I wanted to find out what modifications Austin had made to his car, so I asked him for a list of his upgrades.
His current modifications include: Bagriders super low bags paired with the Airlift Performance management system, Cusco rear upper control arms, FullForm camber plates, HIR Sports clear tail lights, SSR SP1 three-piece wheels, titanium lug nuts, an AWE track exhaust, Tomei unequal length headers, a Boosted Performance tune via ECUTEK, several interior carbon fiber trim pieces, a Billetworkz short shifter, a Billetworkz titanium shift knob, and last but not least, a 326 Power wing.
What Future Plans do you have for your Car?
Austin mentioned that he has plans for his car, including a few modifications he is currently working on. He recently got side skirts from Spec! and has dropped off a third front lip at the paint shop.
Additionally, he is interested in getting a set of thrash bucket seats and is considering the possibility of turbocharging the car.
