Why an F80?
“I bought my f80 M3 in 2022 right at the time the new model of the M3 were being released. The new model (G80) was vastly different from the new shape of the body lines to the changes in classic front grills. The f80 is a timeless design that embodied everything I wanted in my M3. However, in doing my research before obtaining the f80 it was important that it is equipped with the right spec options.
There were must haves when getting the f80. I knew I wanted a 2018 model with face lift and equipped with ikons. Included in the search for a perfect spec, I looked for a competition having the executive package, a carbon roof, while being a DCT (Dual-Clutch-Transmision).”

What modifications have been made?
“My M3 Comp is sapphire black wrapped Ruby Star by Inozetek. It is sitting on KW coilovers (V3). As well as coilover spring spacer to further perfect fitment. To dress up the car I had custom made BBS RSII crafted by paul @Ehrlich wheel works in 20″ The wheels are wrapped in Michelin pilot sports.
Engine modifications begin with a tune from BootMod and supporting mods listed as follows, topmount intercooler from mishimoto, charge pipes from mishimto, all powder coated white from factory. Drop in filters with charcoal delete. Exhaust setup begins with catless downpipes and single equal length midpipe exemplifying the BMW M Sport titanium exhaust. Paired together make music.”
What is your dream car? What was a poster car for you as a child?
“Fascinated with supercars, my dream car was always a Lamborghini of some sort. However, it was the car already in our driveway that would later become my favorite.”

What got you into cars?
“My mother growing up loved manual BMW’s. One of her first cars in college was a white BMW e30. Following that car, she bought an e36. These cars sat on our farm untouched for years. As I grew older, they became my new hobby. My mom, and these cars are what eventually lead me into the BMW world.”
Describe your automotive journey. What have you had up to this point?
“My first vehicle was a TRD pro Tacoma which I had for about year and half. I absolutely loved this truck; it had a 6” lift with 33’s. Meanwhile had the two project cars at home the e36 and e30. However, during the height of covid, I saw an opportunity to sell it which led me to getting the f80.”

What are your future plans with the car? And lastly, what is your favorite part about ownership?
“Future plans with the car are final dressing parts such as engine hardware and throughout the car. I would also like to do Eventuri intakes, interior pieces, more carbon, and potentially seatbacks.”
